ULTIMATE CAM Specs/ Info thread for the LS3/ L99!!

I know this has been done before..but maybe this time we can get a sticky on the thread and make this a very informative piece for members to look at when planning for a cam.

Post up your cam and who/where you got it, then any videos applicable, followed by dyno charts (again if applicable) and finally cam specs and any supporting mods etc.

Again, i know there are some smaller threads like this..but i think i as well as many others would like to see one comprehensive thread with all cam info etc in one place. Also, free cam discussion is welcome for any who want to. I will add my cam videos/ info once i get my cam installed.

anybody want to bite and start us off?

Mods are in my sig and I'm pretty sure that everyone know the specs on the TSP 231/236 cam!! I will also be getting the heads ported by Darin Morgan when I get back from Iraq!! Once that is done I will be reposting the results! Hoping to get closer to my goal of 500/475 to the wheels on the motor and running consistant mid to low 11's at 120+!! Wish me luck!!

If not then here they are!!

LG G6X3 Manual Transmission

LG G6X3 Automatic

Both of the Above cars had the following:
  • LG Super Pro exhaust
  • LG G6X3 cam kits
  • Underdrive crank pulley
  • Cold air induction
  • ported throttle body
  • *the automatic is using a 3600 stall converter

It would be nice if everyone could include the gains since that will vary much less dyno to dyno than the peak hp will. Maybe update a chart in your first post with results for each cam.

That auto should put a a$$ woppin on a lot of cars at the track. Was the 100+ from just the cam or everything listed? Those are some stout numbers either way especially considering you are running it thru a big stall.

The yellow SS in my post, I did not have a chance to do a base line as he did all of the work.

The auto car already had cold air and mufflers on it when we baselined it....but all of the other components were added to the after numbers. I have not done a cam of that size without full exhaust on it.
