Anyone (in the Houston area) want to uninstall and reinstall headers for me?

2012 SS. I'm getting quoted at around $500 at the shop. I don't want to get my car tuned for now and need my CEL off. I want to remove the after market headers and put my stock headers back in. I can compensate with $170 and a 6 pack.

The headers are long tube stainless power headers with cats which I will also sell if you want them.

Post this in the regional section of the boards. The Houston Camaro Club has some great members that I'm sure will be willing to help you out.

If the cel is your only concern then you can get a tuner to tune out the oxygen sensors making the cel to go away without actually getting the car tuned. I had the same problem as you so I called a local tuner and asked him and he said he could get it done but it was going to be like 120 because they have to buy credits from the computer or something like that. But you can get the light off without messing with the cars performance and you can keep the headers for less than what you are willing to pay for taking them off
