Victory Red V-6 Camaro Photoshop Request Please

Guys, I'm thinking about changing my order to a Victory Red 2LT....can someone with great photoshop skills post what 1) a summit white roof would look like on a victory red body, and 2)a glossy black roof would look like on a victory red body???

A local paint shop here in Austin is having problems visualizing this...please

Waste of money to cover up a nice complex paint like Vic Red IMO.

That's why the shop is probably resisting. Just would not look right. IMO of course.

Honestly, you might be right...he did try to sell me on white rally stripes on the hood and trunk....I admit that....

But, on this forum, there is a picture of a '67 red camaro with a black vinyl top that I think looks great, and I saw another red '67 camaro witha painted black top at the 2010 Camaro unveiling here in Austin at Capital Chevy, and the owner of the paint shop I visited here in Austin yesterday has in his shop his very own red '67 camaro with a white convertible roof...soOOOOOO

Not sure if this is what you wanted, but maybe it'll give you the right idea.

Oh, you just wanted the roof. That'll probably look strange on the 2010 because of its lines.

However...

agreed venom, it looks kind of funny, could just be because we've never seen a PS that looks like this haha.
the paint just doesn't quite seem to flow with the lines of the car

The thing is that the new paint job is worth about 3000 bucks. Stripes is one thing but to cover a major portion. I'll just assume you have lot of money to burn cause your looking at probably 500-1000 bucks to paint a roof. And the would have to destroy the vic red to base up there.

I got a quote yesterday that it would run about $500-600.00...I think it looks pretty interesting...maybe we could establish some kind of poll regarding its' looks??
