Gun safe in trunk?

Has anyone bolted a gun safe or other secutiy box into the trunk of their Camaro. I live in L.A. and when I go to the range I'm required to have my weapons in a locked box in the trunk. It used to be that they had only to be locked in the trunk, but if you have seat fold down capability they now required a lockbox. I'd just as soon leave a box in the trunk all the time as I go to the range quite abit and it gives some added protection to your gear in the event someone pops your trunk.

Does it have to be bolted in? The one I use is secured into the trunk with a cable. How big do you want it to be? a pistol? two pistols? long gun? The options are limitess if you look

Is that military or police...holy balls...

What kinda wack ass set up is this haha, I mean try to conceal the AR a little better to see out the back window lol....I do like how the radar is just pretty much ghetto rigged on behind the rifle though.

That sounds like my idea of the definition of "overkill".

Can you bolt it to the spare wheel cover? Granted it's just plastic unlike bolting it to the metal frame, but it'd sure be easier to do.

Not that local governments ever bat an eye at passing regulations like this which fly in the face of common sense, but honestly if a criminal is going to go that far to get into your trunk and after your gun, he's probably going to get it anyway.

Beyond a zombie apocolyapse I don't see a need to carry a gun safe in the trunk of my car. Maybe thats just me.
