As my car is a daily driver (year round, in MN), I can see the necessity. But I think there are better, less obtrusive options out there, like the RPI stealth front guards and the ZL1 rears, or some homemade ones. Help block the crud, and are hardly visible if you aren't looking for them.

10,000 miles and no rock chips. 'Nuff said.

I think all cars should have these mandatory. Would stop quite a few rocks from hitting windshields, causing insurances to decrease (slightly) and would increase visibility while driving during heavy rain. I'd much rather the custom fit ones that are color matched over some bs universal fit ones that works on the camaro and a Honda fit. |

question about rock guard location.
I am considering putting these on, either the flared out ones or the ZL1 stealthy ones, or both, one or the other in front and other in back.
My question is on another thread some people say that the paint chips in front of the rear wheel. I have already experienced a little of this on my black Camaro and it only has 4200 miles on it. Has anyone else seen this, because I am getting no chips on the body behind my rear wheels. Jim |

Putting rear guards on might help keep the rear area cleaner, though.

I think the GM splash guards look like they belong on a SUV not a CAMARO :(

if you're going for looks, don't get them...if you want to protect your car from rock chips, get them...it's worth it. I got the stealth guard so it's really not noticeable...

Barely noticeable. But great for protecting the paint. Mine are on order.
