usually a week. But that's just the beginning, you're far from home......

When the actual build starts it takes around 17 to 20 hours I believe to complete. Not sure if that includes any striping or not. Hope that helps a little.

I think he is referring to the time it takes to go thru QC then scheduled for transit. At some point it is loaded onto the rail system where it travels who knows where before it gets to a "hub" where a car carrier is scheduled to come and pick it up from the rail system, then drive it who knows how far to your dealership. Keep in mind that all this has to be scheduled in stages and coordinated so it won't happen in a few days. I don't know the typical transit timing but have heard 2 - 3 weeks assuming no hold ups along the way. I hope it is faster than that though.

I was told my car was pulled for production on May 25 but still don't have a production date and my dealership seems to know nothing about the production schedule. What and where did you guys get that timeline you have?

Im talking about how long it takes to assemble a car once it hits the production line.

if you have factory striping, you can add a week after the car is built, and then to QC, maybe a few days there.......... and then shipping. You're probably 3 weeks out or so.
