Smile D2 Forged MB2's are On!!!!!

First, let me say thank you to D2 Forged for incurring the expense of shipping my "late" wheel overnight. I expected it on Monday but it showed up today! That had to be very costly for them and they should know that I appreciate it VERY much!

Now on to the wheels. They are beautiful; as you can see in the attached pictures. These wheels had to be designed with the Camaro in mind as they compliment its curves and size perfectly IMO. Moreover they are very light at about 25lbs each, so they should have reduced the car's weight by 30-40lbs.

I had them road force balanced and the technician said the wheels were as true as any he's seen, including those from exotics like Ferrari and Bentley.

So, as far as I'm concerned these wheels were well worth the investment. NineBall, thanks for setting me up with these wheels!

Rears: 20"x11" with 315/35 Nitto Invo's
Fronts: 20"x9" with 275/40 Nitto Invo's

That's what I like about them; too bad they don't make the stock wheels in 20"x9" and 20"x11" that weigh 25lbs because that's what I'd have

Nice

Have to admit, most of the wheels I see posted here are waaaay overkill. Your set are just fine. Not too much bling with the right amount of sting. The ridge that runs down the spokes kinda shakes hands with the shark slits. Very well done! -Al

i agree.
if GM did the wheels right the first time... folks would have a much harder time selling aftermarket wheels.

i had that problem with my C5Z06...
couldnt find anything out there that looked better and was lighter.

not a bad looking set of wheels.
always nice to have a little more meat out back also!

any driver feeback you can share? pro's con's etc.?

Thanks for the business! The D2 MB2 wheel is a great design because it is simple and understated. I dig the thickness of the spokes, as it helps to balance out the porky profile of the Camaro body. The brushed finish is second to none, especially in person.

Andrew, your tires are still on backorder. I'd recommend trying Tire Rack, just to see if they have any in stock. The chrome stems shown above came from my local Discount Tire store. I wish I knew the supplier of them.

Tony

I'm sure GM's decision on the wheels was to keep the price down. But that's why we have aftermarket options I guess.
