one thing that really ticks me off (besides them charging ridiculous amounts for these cars) is the fact these cars have so much mileage on them, theyve had the piss beat out of em for that short mileage and they want u to pay thru the a$$ for them

Well good for them. The supply of people who are willing to pay those prices will run out... and they'll be stuck with 20 Camaro's on their lots - - - - Just like the Ford dealerships packed with new Mustangs.

I can't believe how GM is trying to take advantage of their customers in a time like this. Ripping people off left and right.

It takes a DIFFERENT type of person to be a GM salesman...

... I couldn't do that sh*t to people day after day and keep a straight face.

10k markup? Yeah right.

It's horse sh*t like this that makes American loyalists start looking at European cars.

The salesman do not dictate the mark ups over MSRP. You can blame the owner of the dealership for that. I tried to order from salesman that has been lifelong friend, but owner wanted $5000 over sticker just to order. Sad thing is that there are people willing to pay extra. One customer drove up from Florida and one drove from Kentucky. Both paid $5000 over MSRP and trailored cars home.

Get your facts straight --GM has NOTHING to do with these dealer markups!!

The salesman DOESN'T work for GM.

This is crazy and i hope they end up eating those prices and have to set on them for years. But at the same time its sad cause there are many people that want a Camaro and they have to be A@@es and hold some from a person who has been waiting or dreaming of having a 2010 Camro. Its like a wasted order in a sense

So what keeps us from buying directly from GM?

Is that $USD?

It is par for the course, I am sure the 2010 GT500 will have some of the same going on, just shows you need to do your homework and keep emotions out of the purchase decision.
