How does your dealer match up.

Just placed my order at my dealer. The dealer GM said that the paper work will be done on start of business 13 Oct 2008. I am getting my Camaro SS, 2SS w/ RS package @ $500.00 below MSRP and I am getting to use my GM military discount on top of that. He also Said that I am going to be #5 on the order list.

When I spoke to one dealership near me, I was told no mark-up, and I get a law enforcement discount, however much that ends up being. Just for info, my department bought a fleet of Impalas from this dealership, which helps.

# 1 on list @ my first dealership that will honor a GM supplier disount or $500 below MSRP minus my GM card earnings....which ever is better....I have bought 11 vehicles since 99' from the same guy.
# 2 on list @ my second dealership...same deal....I have bought 2 of my last 3 trucks from them since Feb 07'....they are bigger then the first.

All my dealers in IL are lazy, non-returning email people.

So months back, CamaroScotty became my #1 sales rep so Newman's in Wisconsin will get my hard saved money.

Don't think any dealer will match up to Newmans.

It's comments like those that have me working hard, to do something to make the delivery special. Yes, I have plans, and I am working on it, and have been for some time. I am very hopeful my first idea becomes reality. It isn't much in the terms of cash value, but valuable in perhaps many different ways. And something I think anyone who spent time on the forums would appreciate!

Again, I know I can't say it enough - I notice posts, and I may not comment on every one (I am working, you know...), but I thank you for the comments! Even from those buying elsewhere, I still thank you. It says I must be doing a good job!

You have earned alot of from alot of people around here. I know I am going to have to wait awhile to order. I will be stationed in Bahrain until just before the 2011 comes out but I will be ordering from you.

Thanks for all your help and info!!

Until a dealership in Orlando says they can get me MSRP or below in writing then I don't trust it.....I dunno, I've just been burnt before and I wont mind waiting just a few months before I get my camaro to ensure I get the best deal.....

Are you aware if they offer L.E.O. discount regardless if you purchase fleet? We have vics, but if I can save even 500 bucks thats huge...let me know what they offer you, please
