L99 Turbo or Supercharger... I'm torn trying to decide

Hey I'm in the market immediately for either a Turbonetics Turbo kit or the Edelbrock E Force. Both about the same power, but turbo has lag and that's a bummer. Anyone running these or have ran these!? What's your thoughts or recommendations?

Still undecided if I'm doing drag or AutoCross.

I heard turbonetics kits have a lot of issues thought with heat and oil leaks.

I know e force used to but the new design has helped with that

I've had the turbonetics kit for 6k miles. Gone on a few road trips miami to orlando, miami to key west. Never had a issue with heat or leaks. Anyone with leaks I would say was had a installation issue or did not tap the pan correctly for the oil drain. My kit is for sale, only because I'm getting ready to out grow it hp wise. For rwhp in the 600 range it's perfect. If you may want to be 700-800+ one day, go with twins. Only downside to that is the low mounting (water and dirt in the filters. Plus you need a scavage pump for the oil drain. Those were my original reasons for buying the turbonetics kit.

If he is in Cali and needs CARB compliant than those are his two choices. Out of the two I would do the eforce, but then again I would do the SLP, Heartbeat, or Whipple, Procharger, Vortech over the eforce if I needed CARB.

ProCharger and Vortec are not C.A.R.B. compliant. If they were, I would have gone that way over my maggie.

I've seen too many E-Force issues to ever go that way. Even with the "fixed" fuel starvation issue, I'd still look at one of the other PD blowers before the E-force.

I have the Turbonetics kit and no issues at all and I take trios to Las Vegas. No issues.
Besides they came up with this new like of Turbos that increase hp. Can safely handle more boost and lower chances of detonation by decreasing back pressure. Check it man

I also have the turbonetics Kit, its the New stage two as well.
No issues with leaks or heat.
like it was previously said, I think it was an installation issue.
car drives just like stock, that is until you get on it!
also still gets 26-28mpg fwy. really happy with it

How much power is this stage two turbonetics kit capable of or averaging? Also any issues with water or anything in where the intake filter is placed?

The stage two Kit is different. you decide how much you want to push it.
I stoped at 700, my engine probably thanks me.
did that at 9lb of boost.

It doesnt come with anything related to Fuel.
so, no injectors and no tune and stuff.
I guess people have different ideas of "how much is too much?." lol

Personally 700+ is where i say ok.. don't wanna end up like this
this is what it took to get there.
stage two kit
id85 injectors
zl1 pump
ADM FPCM
custom tune

the power is brutal. I have many suspension mods and traction is an issue
doesn't mean its not fun!

I havent had any issues with water, and i have a huge K&N intake.
but I live in CA so.. not much rain here hahaha
I have many pics in my profile and dyno graph if you're curious.
