Street car takeover may 16

I don't know if a lot of people look in this section but I'll post it in the general discussions next weekend since c5 fest thing is happening. But is anyone planing on going to the street car takeover (formerly kc2k) from lawrence further west? I was wondering if anyone heading that way wanted to meet up and convoy out to the car show? Let me know if your interested.

Well the Friday event is in blue springs missouri (I think) a few miles east of arrow head stadium on I-70. Then the Saturday event is at heartland park here in topeka.

Here's a Facebook link where they post most of the info. Oh yea it's legit if you've ever heard of tx2k it's the same thing just google kc2k13 it's the same event but Texas claimed rights to the 2kxx name so they had to come up with a new name for Kansas City, flordia, and a few others. But it's big meet they're expecting a 1000 or more cars.

Sweet I'm going to look around I know it's a huge event that a lot of people go to so I'll try to get a group going.

We are expecting over 2,000 cars from all over the country coming to the Kansas City event. Hope some of you can come out.

Oh yea I plan on being there. I plan on leaving topeka around 3-3:15 try and beat some of the traffic.
