How do I attach the wires to this type of switch without soldering them?

Did you just a regualr old drill bit to drill the hole for the switch?.....this part makes me nervous!!!
You will want to use a female spade terminal. They sell that at radio shack, auto zone, home depot, etc. Yes a regular old drill bit will work. Just measure how big your switch is and then drill a hole that is slightly smaller than it.

I posted in your other thread. But basically, go to autozone and tell the guy you want to tap into a fuse. He will direct you towards a piggyback fuse tap (that is not the technically term) and that will let you still tap into the HVAC fuse.

There is a post about it already. Do a search.
With this method, they would come on with the dome lights if you opened a door, but what if your doors are closed and you just turn on one of the dome lights with the button, will the footwell lights come on as well?

Yes. If you turn the dome light on your footwell lights will also turn on.

How are the lights secured to the footwell? Might seem like a dumb question, but i haven't even seen the lights yet...
