+1 for MGW. 20K and no issues and enjoy the feel. Matter of fact, Buddy with '12 Mustang is going to purchase one for his car based on my positive feedback.

Yep Les, I love my Hurst and I would not hesitate to do it again for a second. You really can't go wrong with which ever shifter you go with, they all put the factory shifter to shame. And if you decide to do it and want a hand installing it just let me know.

Decided on a MGW and love it. Definitely wouldn't go back to stock. My car is just a weekend cruiser as well.

I get a little bit more what I like to call "feel" for the car and trans. Les if you are looking to just keep it quite and totally vibration free, just stay with the sloppy factory thing they like to call a shifter...LOL, no I have no rattles or any more vibration than there was before the short throw, it's just now you feel them and hear them a little more. Any performance upgrade comes with it's ups and downs, you just have to decide if the ups out weigh the downs for what YOU are looking for. Also I like the hurst but if you are looking for the shortest throw, the Barton is the way to go, and all of the companies from what I can see have great customer service, I lost one of the installation bolts for my hurst and they sent me 2 at no charge, and from reading on the other short throw thread here, I completely agree with everything the poster from Barton has said about installation and how the shifters feel and perform.

Yes, I like it and I would do it again. When I sit in a stock Camaro and go through the gears, it feels like I'm rowing a boat. Racing or not a short shifter is a great mod

+1 MGW!! Have about 15k with MGW installed. One of the best mods I've done. Can't even describe how much better it is over the stock shifter. Do not get any rattle with mine either. I believe the Hurst has a shorter throw but the MGW just feels better IMO.

I have an MGW shifter. It is smooth, precise and quiest as the stocker. It is the best aftermarket shifter I have owned.
