When I get mine I plan on following the break in period to the letter according to the owners manual. There is also a procedure for burnishing the brakes.

Smooth ride

I took her on another 300 mile trip today, total 1200 miles 300 til blast off I have been looking for some 20x8 and 20x9 stock rims to mount my pirellis so i can get these goodyears off and save for my track days.I found a guy on camaro5 in Vegas we meet half way to make the deal. The ride is smooth i dont understand all the talk about a rough ride,i just simply doesnt exist, even if it does so what, its a hot rod,not a crown vic! The rims are at the powder coaters, and when i got back home put on this tail light black out kit. The 1st two pic too much sun,but the 3rd one you can see what i was going for.

It still has paper tags and so far we have de-badged it, plasti-dipped the rear bezels and polished the strut tower brace to a mirror finish. This thing just doesn't need anything to be perfect.
Where are you a firefighter at?
Nice cars to both of you. This is my dream car and hopefully can order one soon.

I liked the 1LE concept model. If I got a 1LE I'd do it...I say go for it! NICE ride btw.

I love that hash stripe as well. That's the way I'd do it.

I like the hash mark on the concept too but am curious how they got the mark to come from inside of the hood wrap edge. If you cut into the hood wrap, will the edges stay clean like that or lift?
I see GM sells the Hash Marks in their parts catalogue but are they the same? That info I cant get (measurements) and dont want to buy them just to have a look as they are not stocked where I live.

The GM hash marks do not come onto the hood. There should be a picture in the catolog. They look like the other aftermarket hash marks.
