Very Cool Camaro Day - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So today, I'm out -n- about in my ride..I live in Florida, today was a picture perfect day..sunny, blue skies, 84 degress and breezy...so I turn off the air, put down the windows and open up the sun roof. I'm listening to an AC/DC mix CD that I made..their newest song "War Machine" comes on..so I'm jaming, come to a red light, look over to my right,there's a jeep with 3 guys in it..they are hooting and hollaring.."YEAH!!" Snapping pics on their cell phones..one guys yells out, "you look like your car!" I'm like what? Then I realize, my car is black with red bowties and red SS's on the sides..my hair is black and streaked with red..I start cracking up!!

Ok SO THEN...I swear, it was like a frickin' movie..the next song comes on.."Shoot to Thrill"...along side of me is a black Challenger SRT other side pulls up a red & black mustang GT..we are all kind of drivin along...the driver of the dodge beeps at me and signals for me to look towards my back...behind me, I KID YOU NOT..a black COBRA with Red stripes.. I was like.."you gotta be F***IN** kidding me!" With that song playing and these cars driving along, it was so cool! We all stayed together for about a 1/2 mile..I swear to you...every other car on the road ..and we are talking a 4 lane highway (US1..for anyone that may know that road) just slowed down..or moved outta the way.. I finally had to turn left..the others kept going straight...as the Cobra passed me, the guy driving rolled down his window and gave me a thumbs up...

Moments like these...are just one of the reasons why I LOVE THIS CAR!!!
I thought you guys would appreciate this story!!!

Anyone else ever have a Cool Camaro Day???

Thats sweeeeet! I had a great day of playn around too. Many many "cool car" "nice ride" ect ect.....Everywhere i went today it happened...Getting gas... going to the driving range...on the interstate...Sweet ride.
Its a thrill.

Great story and We had a pretty good Camaro Day too.... Started off this morning with a Mid 90's Mustang GT with loud exhaust starting out from a light beside me, man he was letting it rev pretty high in each gear before shifting, but the funny thing was he was not going any faster than we were and I was accelerating only at about 1/2 throttle, about how I normally do, not pushing it hard at all... My wife and I started laughing about it and him and his woman could see us laughing, so he slowed down and did a U turn in the middle of the block...Guess he was humiliated...
The rest of the day was filled with many thumbs up and OHH there's Bumblebee... We were in one Store and I heard a little girl singing.."Bumblebee, bumblebee I love bumblebee!!!"

Ain't it great to own a Camaro???

what wouldve be even cooler is if your car had red rallys. i think that combo would look sweet, and all the cars wouldve matched even better
