Had mine for 4 yrs, several issues with my set up (1 engine and 2 trannies) due to my own doing, only thing that's been reliable has been the turbos! Don't go over 10 psi, you'll start replacing parts thereafter, but I think this goes to supercharger a too....

Depends on everyone's goals.. We have made numerous STOCK bottom ends last for a long time at the 750-800 ++ rwhp range. However, that is with supporting modifications, injectors, fuel system, methanol (octane), and tuning has to be on point. However, we build the same kit over and over again with the ECS SC1500 base kit, ID-850, Livernois or Squash fuel setup, Alky Control meth, and then exhaust modifications, so we always are relying on good parts, octane and tuning. We just did one AGP turbo kit, and I'll say we are quite impressed with it however that is on a forged combination. Like to take an AGP kit into the 800rwhp/800rwtq range on a stock bottom and put some DR's on it

there is a saying in the VG30DETT world "300zx Twin Turbo" thats called the 6 P's ..Piss Poor Planning Leads to Piss Poor Performance. I think that basic rule applies to all be it supercharged ,Turbocharged or NA ,to say one type of SC is better than the other or Turbos are better than SC just isn't practical they both have there place.

Turbos are absolutely reliable for a daily driver. Anyone who says a turbo car is unreliable by default, is stupid. Honestly.

Proper parts, proper setup, and proper tune. You will have no reliability problems at all.

Absolutely... Know your vendor, pick a good one and ask questions... Honest questions...

Everything I see says this is a great kit and like I mentioned in another thread, if Matt at FSP likes it, it would be good enough for me...

He's earned that in my book based on dealings I've had with him...

Once parked and ready to turn off engine, do you need to allow time for oil to cycle out of turbo?

With the AGP kit, no. They have parts on the kit that take care of that.

As long as you run the car for a couple minutes after boost, you should be fine.

Biggest point here is change the oil/filter often... I change mine every 2500-3000 miles and before every race event... Oil is cheap compared to turbos and motors... .

What makes a turbo less reliable? I understand general concerns on these stock pistons, rings, etc. Just not sure why the supercharger vs turbo comparison will prefer supercharger for reliability.

If anything, the exact opposite is true.
There is a lot of evidence supporting your research, most all of it is the materials used and welding techniques to mount the turbos that is the problem with reliability, Cracking Headers and pipes ahead of the turbos.

AGP has addressed all of these concerns and is why We endorse the AGP Twin Turbo systems.

Definitely the Highest quality OEM reliable system we have seen.

Feel free to give me a call to discuss your goals.

Ted.

This is key. However, oil change intervals should be addressed for each particular setup. Just because interval X is great for Billy, doesn't mean that the same interval will be great for Johnny. I will always recommend a high zinc content oil, such as Brad Penn, and have an oil analysis performed a couple times a year just to see what's really going on.

Heck, I change the oil in one of my engines every 1.5 miles.
