A Bit of Bad Luck
A bit of bad luck - I was driving the Camaro on I-64 East, in Norfolk, to VA Beach to spend a little time with my son. A car to my left was crowding me wanting to move right, so I started to change lanes to the right. I ran over something in the road. I don't think the damage is as bad as I first thought. It cut the bottom of the front bumper (only visible from underneath), removed the front spoiler, and caused the left rear tire to go flat. I had it towed to a Chevy dealership to have the damage assessed. Hopefully the tire doesn't have to be replaced. With a new spoiler and the tire repaired, it should be fully road-worthy and only a little worse for wear for the drive back home later this week. I'm very thankful it wasn't worse. I was able to drive it off the interstate to a safe location on a side street.
On a side note, I have to say it was handy having OnStar. |

Defensive driving...there's always someone on the road acting like an ass, push back -- but if it's a 45th, make sure it's not me!!!
