Has anyone done a blow down tube in that location? I would like to see what you all have done.

I was thinking of using 8AN braided steel line instead if the big tube that it comes with, just place a bulkhead on the underside of the car to eliminate the chances of it moving.

I feel that's just as safe. I would like to hear everyone's thoughts and see some pictures if you have any.

Thanks.

Is a blowdown tube required if the bottle is in the trunk? Thought it was only needed if the bottle was in the cockpit.

Trying to get ready. The DA an hour ago was like 863 or something. That's crazy for out here.

Yes you can use the braided line in place of the hard line and just remove the plastic plug ans run the line through it, no need to drill a hole.

I did my blow down tube. I used braided steel line and I utilized an existing hole in the battery compartment. I then did a bulkhead fitting to secure it all in place.

A blow down vent is always a good idea to have incase bottle pressure exceeds the burst disk rating. Nothing worse than a car full of NO2 gas!
