Gen 5 dash and gauges into a Gen 1 car - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, and thought that I'd start here.

So, I have a 67 rs/ss convertible, with the 350 small block, era correct. I'm restomoding the car, and have read about a couple of people who have transplanted the Gen 5 dash into a first gen car.

So I guess that my main question is are the gauges easy enough to hook up and work correctly? I read a couple of posts that suggested that transplanted gauges didn't always work properly.
