Definitely...we (my wife and I) mostly just do the cruises and car shows but the people are really cool and there are a LOT of nice cars from all generations. The spring tour last year started in Prescot Wi and went all around the river and bluffs... Its always fun to hang out with folks that have the same interests as well...heh. (I think its all of $35 a year or something like that and they have so many door prizes at every event youll most likely make all that money back in stuff you win...LOL)

Blame Greenland:

Despite its distance from the city, its impact on the city and the Midwest and Eastern U.S. is immense.

Simply put, this pattern involves the development of a huge pool of milder than normal air aloft at arctic latitudes. The warmth there forces jet stream realignments which send unseasonably chilly air southward into an expansive region of the Lower 48. Its impact on Europe and western Russia can be the same. In short, the reappearance of the Greenland blocking pattern provides what long-range forecasters refer to as a "cold signal" for good chunk of the U.S. and on both sides of the Atlantic.
Those jerks in Angsioq, Greenland are enjoying 43 degree weather right now: http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/04285.html
It's 29 degrees now in Chicago.

They took all our warm air!

Anyway its certainly your call and theres nothing wrong with buying a winter beater...I just didnt wanna not drive my car for half the year.
I'm not crazy about having a 2nd vehicle, but there will be days I'm sure when we have a few inches on the road and I'll 'have' to drive the beater, otherwise, if the roads are clear or 'almost' clear...the Camaro is gonna see the light of day. Thanks for your input!

I live in the snow belt too! . In Indiana but my car sits in the garage waiting for me . I drive a truck so she dont get out much .But I wish I could. If it is clear I will get her out and cruise. It really sucks to have a real car like this and it sits?

Actually, I've been able to drive it quite a bit since I brought 'er home on 2/25. I've got just over 700 miles on it. This storm was the worst one. It's been two days and the roads are quite clear now. The car and I have a date for Friday afternoon and it's the only car I have until next fall, so it will get lots of miles
