Po171 code

Last week ran over a plastic bag and it got wrapped up around the headers and the o2 sensor! 5 miles later check engine light came on? Drove home and put the OBD on and PO 171 came up ? Since then I have cleaned up the bag issue and replaced the o2 sensor extention wire ! Cleaned the MAF! And checked all the lines for cracks ? The car runs fine ? So I think I can rule out fuel pump?So now I'm at a stand still! The car is a 2010 with some work! S/C , headers, cold air kit, Thanks Motor!

i know what you mean, being able to talk the talk, does not mean you can fix a car. hands on is how you learn real procedure, the book is good for theory.

more simply, there's a difference between a mechanic and a parts changer.

and to that point a huge difference between a mechanic and a technician, my suggestion is have a tech diag the problem, bank 1 lean issues are not too terrible to figure out.
