E2 Elite Engineering catch can.
How does this compare to the Rx?
Anyone like it better? I want to get it for the LFX and want the one that works best and has the best mounting procedure.

I have an Elite catch can and It works great. Very easy to check catch can by just unscrewing bottom half. I installed mine when I had 500 miles on the car. I checked the catch can when I was at 1800 miles and I was surprised at the amount of oil in the can. It is a very nice and well made product.

Thanks. I think i will go with the elite also. Is there any modification needed with the mounting process? It seems that some people had some problems with the Rx mounting on the 2012 LFX.

Im pretty sure some people asked Tracy (Sc2150) for a driver side mounting bracket you can use it where the engine cover snaps down on the bolt (passenger side) or if you have a CAI you can on the drivers side happy modding

Austin, I have the Elite Catch Can mounted on the drivers side in a hole left vacant by my Roto Fab CAI install. Elite make a special bracket for that purpose.

From what i understand they still had to cut a notch in the engine cover cuz it was a very tight fit. I have a custom painted cover that i don't want to hack. Seems like the elite bolts right up without any modification. Is this correct?

The drivers side mount can be ordered for an additional $25.00 from JDP Motorsports.
