Yeah I know that "never again" thing. Keep saying I won't go into the "4 cylinder" thread annnnnnnnd back I go. Pointless, often fruitless, but I guess I can't help myself.

I got suckered into it. The thread was in the General forum (now in the VS.). I mentioned performance based on value and this guy went berserk. No rationality whatsoever.

Those threads are full of wayward perspectives and opinions strewn with emotion. Rarely do I find any value in that section.

If anybody is interested in restoration build threads..... This is a good one!

EDIT: more of a build thread than a restoration now that I think about it....

No updates in 3 months either.

But yeah, I was looking at what was done to the FOD and realized he was not doing a restoration.

Not at all knowledgeable on such things, but welding panels over suspect panels doesn't seem like the proper way to go. I thought you cut them out completely and replaced the panel.

Thoughts?

No doubt. I was thinking the same thing as I read through the thread. That car was fairly rough once he started to peel the onion back a bit.

Happy New Year to everyone in The House.

Thanks for a great year of Z news (Z/28, Z51 and soon Z06).

Thanks to all the warfighters celebrating the New Year somewhere other than home in defense of this great land.

Thanks to those at home that put themselves in harms way to protect us, our families and our homes.

Be safe, have fun and don't drink and drive.
