I have a 32GB iPhone 3Gs, and when I play it through my usb port, it will shuffle the songs fine, and I can search by album, but it does not let me search by artist or search by playlist. Also, the display on the radio will delay from time to time. Has anyone had the same problem, and is there a fix?

I had an iPod that I used for a while, and it crapped out, so, I don't really want to spend the money on a 16GB iPod Nano, and having a Mac at home, my music is in MP4 format, so I do not know if I want to mess with converting it all to MP3 and using a portable USB stick.

BTW, my Camaro was ordered October 2009 and I took delivery in December 2009, so if there has been an update that I need to do at a dealership, I have not been notified.

Thoughts??? Suggestions???

i had the exact same issue, and i took it to the dealership for a PDMI update. fixed all my issues

So, the car was at the dealership all day yesterday, and the PDMI was up to date. They say they were on the phone with GM throughout the day, and even tried one of their own 3Gs's in my car and others there on the lot and same problems!!! So, still having the problem, and the dealership says GM is not aware of the issue. Any thoughts????

Search the forum... GM is aware of the issue and they're working on a fix. Earliest it will be out is July from what we're hearing.

Thanks Darth, but it makes no sense to me that the dealership was on the phone with GM and nobody seemed to be aware of the problem. BTW, this is one of the largest dealerships in the country. Also, some people on here are saying that theirs is not having the problem, so it is just plain weird to me. ARGHHH!

The people your dealership talked to simply don't have direct knowledge of the issue. GM is a very large company with thousands of employees. There's no way for every employee to know everything that goes wrong with every vehicle. You need to keep in mind the gravity of the issue too. Having sync problems with your Iphone is not a catastrophic issue and therefore pretty low on most people's(in the company) radar. If we're taking the poster in the other thread at his word, then from what he says, the people who work on the PDIM know about the issue and are dealing with it. Just be patient brother... it'll get fixed.
