Putname Chevrolet is located in the heart of the SF bay area peninsula (Burlingame is located about 10 miles south of San Francisco). I will update this on monday when I have a chance to talk to Benjamin Rivas (Internet Sales Manager).

Sorry haven't had time to repost, what about trade in? If I fly over there, no trade in. If I drive up there, more miles will be put on truck. What about drop shipping? How does all paperwork/trade in get handled, anyone know?

The 'Maro I have on order and would like is 1SS, CGM, RS package, BA sound. Of course since I suck, I wouldn't be able to take delivery or make purchase until after July, damn credit card debt. I wish there was an easier way.

Tribone added. I just got off the phone with Ben Rivas of Putnam Chevy and sent him a link to this list. He will be reviewing with his manager and they will give us the best deal they can. More info when they respond. They are currently waiting to fill the rest of their orders, so the sooner you get on their list, the sooner you will have your car. Anyone else interested is still welcome to put their name down as this list will be a constant running thing.

Update:

Well after speaking with both contacts I have in Northern California, It seems that neither is able to offer a discount for almost 15 people looking to buy the car. I person said for sure a discount could be offered, only to be overruled by his boss. The best I can get is MSRP. I'm sorry guys...

Hey Mindz, went to Putnam on Saturday to view the vehicles that had (I thought I remembered hearing they had 2 V6's and a silver 1SS). Young salesperson said the two V6's were sold last week and knew nothing about having had a V8. And the proceeded to try and sell me a corvette saying that if I was interested in a V8 that would run me $45K plus $5K dealer mark-up. Told him he was wrong and walked.

From what I hear the convertible won't be released at the rate this is going, so I might end up getting a hardtop which would move the date at some point. As it stands now, I plan on ordering around a year from now.
