My parents didn't let me do anything to my cars back in the day and they had good reason.....they had to fund my repair costs. Dad got angry!

Do some cosmetic mods. You don't want to get into with your parents. Someone else on this forum did that and they moved out of the house, no longer speaks to their parents and even lost the Camaro.

Think about those things first.

Here is a whole list of items you can go thru to see what you can do without causing warranty issues. This is my personal page of my items I have done to date. I just need to post the under the hood cosmetic changes once I have completed them.

In all honesty OP... if you are fighting so hard just for an intake... it's not worth it. Believe me when I say this... the Intake is good, but exhausts always hits the sweet spot. If you want to dispute anything, I would be disputing an Axleback exhaust.

If you are disputing and keeping your intake a SECRET. Wow... that's just not worth it lol. Also, once you start with intake.. you won't stop. You'll want exhausts for sure, then maybe some headers... =/ my POINT IS, if you don't want to be addicted to Crack, don't ever try it. That's all im saying.

Okay, if you already bought your exhaust, then just buy the intake. Eitherway, i see no loss here... you already got an exhaust, which i can imagine your stepdad might get mad at you anyways.

But, welcome to the addicts world lol.
