Event Codes 4700 and 4B00

Sorry, that should say 4200 and 4B00

I know this must have been covered somewhere but could someone please help me understand the following code sequence?

My car was shipped yesterday according to the event codes,
4200 06/17/09

It also says it was "bayed",
4B00 06/16/09

My guess is that it was bayed in QC on the 16th and then shipped on the 17th. ??

Also it has a date of 06/15/09 for 4150 - Original Invoice. Does this mean the invoice was sent to the dealer at that date? Can I get a copy of the invoice?

TIA!

I thought bayed also meant that it could be placed into a container for shipping.

Mine was bayed for a day before being shipped (no factory stripes)

Container? It's coming from Oshawa, not Korea. Train..not container.

You can be bayed for alot of reasons. Im bayed for quality control. Supposed to be out in a week or so according to DBC. You were probably bayed just waiting to ship. The good thing is your shipped now! Congrats!

Same question for me. I was built on 6/18 and bayed (4B00) on 6/18. Do all cars get 4B00 bayed the day they're built? Or should I expect some kind of delay in shipping? I have no special options, just rally stripes which will be dealer installed. Again, just wondering if every car gets bayed before it's shipped?

every car gets bayed before it gets shipped (according to my dealer). Bayed just means its now sitting somewhere ready to get picked up
