Have you played with your car and spun any donuts lately? A quick way to destroy your power steering pump is to spin donuts and turn your wheel at full lock. Many people will turn their wheel to full lock during donuts (which is bad as is) while the engine is at a high RPM. Doing so will heat up/starve the power steering pump and destroy it.

I actually did that a while ago (2-3 months) but I bought a new pump on Thursday and the new one still doesn't work so I don't think the problem is with the actual pump unless I got a new one that was defective.

Make sure you didn't kink the hose from the reservoir or the return line to the reservoir. That's all I got considering what you have already done.

Checked those just now they seemed to look ok. no dents or bends besides where they should have them.

I tried to jerk the wheel back and forth like hemp mentioned and i seemed to be able to move it kinda easily but then i take it on the road and its the same thing as before.
Im really pissed because i didnt even touch the PS during the install, so i have no idea why this is happening!

Do not top the steering fluid. To the middle between min and max marks is ok.

Put the car on jacks and do about 20 full turn to the right and the same to the full left.

Put the car on the ground and do the same as above.

Most of the air will bleed from the above procedure. Drive the car normally for some days and it will be fine.
