Hi there, I have been following your build and love the car! I see you are talking about heat issues now. Do you have any interest in a new KHDI cooler? I have one for sale that I'm not going to install on my vert because of brace issues on the front and I'm not going to remove the brace for the install. Let me know what you think. I have my car tore apart waiting on my hydro-dipped parts to get back to get everything put back together, of course we got more snow last night, when will it ever get nice out again to get the car out? Take care.

Bill
Hey,

First of all, thanks for following my build and you have a sweet car yourself! I have been debating between a few different heat exchangers and still not sure what I want to pull the trigger on! What modifications need to be made to install the KDI Exchanger?

Nick

It's a direct bolt on for a coup, I have a convertible and would have to remove a couple braces on the front, which I didn't know at the time of purchase, and I'm not going to remove them so I need to get rid of this cooler I have sitting here. PM me for a price if you have any interest, thanks.

Following your build I think you are running way too much compression. With your mods I would think you would be over 700hp at the rear wheels already. With only 9.8 psi boost you should be able to run a lot more than 12 deg advance. But with 10.2:1 compression you are fighting detonation all the time unless you run 110 octane race fuel. When doing the build I would have dropped compression so you could run more boost. Stock compression is 9.1:1. Should have dropped it to about 8.5:1 Probably explains your cracked plugs also.

I am currently trying to reconfigure my setup as this car was built in Denver, Co! Now that I have moved down here to Fort worth, Tx it seems as if I am having nothing but problems! The last dyno sheet posted was on 12psi of boost here in TX, where we had to back of due to detonation! Thanks for your input!

Well I got my new BMR 1" Drop springs put on this weekend & I couldn't be more happy with the results! Overall the drop was quite minimal, maybe 3/4" actual but in my opinion the ride quality is better than stock! Here is a pic, I plan to put about 200 miles on the car then take it to Texas track works for alignment later this week! Will have some more pics soon!

Update

Finally got my Blue Decorative bolts & Oil Cap Breather Filter in and put on! They really stand out and set of the Engine bay IMO. Here are a few pics. I ordered the bolts from Probolts.com & the Oil Cap breather filter from Speed inc.
