New 2014 Red Rock Metallic Convertible 2LT, V6 RS Automatic

I finally pulled the trigger ,on a New 2014 Red Rock Metallic Convertible, 2LT, V6 ,RS, Automatic on Friday.

I picked it up in Chicago Friday & drove it to Florida on Saturday, just got here a few hours ago.

What a great time I had driving it down here. I saw 2 yellows, 1 black, and 1 white on the way down. 3 out of 4 gave me "the Camaro Wave" I loved the HUD.

I will need the manual because I really didn't get a "real orientation" A big storm was moving in, I beat it out of town by a half hour Saturday.

I need to wash it and clean it up, and then I will post pictures there are a few spider web/ cob webs on the paint. I'm curious what you guys think the best way to get them out? I have some thoughts but would like some recommendations, first.

I can't stress enough how I admire this board and the advice & support you give everyone, for that, I say thanks.

Congratulations! That RRM is by FAR the best color I've ever seen! I absolutely LOVE it! And yep....have a RRM myself, so...lol.

You are probably going to need to buff out those spyderwebs. We have a good guy here in town we use. Does a hell of a job. lf you are going to do it yourself, I'd suggest some Meguires scratch removal and patience.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Congratulations on your convertible and "welcome" to "'vert life". Driving a 5th Gen. top-down is not only an entirely different driving experience, it's a life-style.

I see you also changed your username from "Want Convertible" to "Got Convertble". Now let's see some pics ASAP.

Enjoy!
