Damn!! I wish the shop I took my spoiler too was like that. It took them over 2 damn months to complete the carbon fiber and painting. It was a joke.

I don't have anything that turned out well. But when I get the car back in a couple weeks I will definitely have better, more complete pics.

I'll see what I can drum up in the meantime.

Your car looks great. A little blue will look awesome.

Thought I'd move the conversation to your build thread.....

Cool. I know I want my stripe between 1/2 to 1" wide, so yours gives me a good reference. I'll keep an eye out for your updates...

Thanks! The accent color will be Medium Quasar Blue Metallic to match the front bowties. Then maybe change the pinstripe on the wheels to match.

Here's a photoshop of my stripe (blue accent is too thin here, I think).

Great looking truck! I'm pretty sure you were right behind me in the cruise at the rally. I really like your car. Nice choice of mods.

I appreciate the compliments. I found a couple more pics and I'll put them in a separate post. Not exactly what you're looking for but iit will give you the idea.

I think that will look really good. Are you doing that in vinyl?

Thank you...I'll have to look at some of the pics my wife took on the cruise to see. I can't remember who I was behind, but I can tell you I was making sure I didn't rear-end whoever it was. There was a serious rubber band affect on that one. whew!

Here are a couple more pics I found that helps give you a better idea of what the center stripe looks like. The stripe currently stops at the edge of the hood and the stripe wraps around the front and tapers down to a point.

The new stripe will wrap in front of the mailslot and do the same thing. In the back, the stripe is going to come down to the bottom edge of the trunk lid.

The stripe is painted on. The hood is already done, just need to do the front bumper, roof, trunk and spoiler (if only I could find time to have the car in the shop). The strip will end on the topside of the spoiler, so it won't look too busy with my rear blackout. The blue accents will be painted on too, but I'd like to do them in a blue vinyl first to make sure I like it.

I'm glad everyone seems to like the pictures. I'm psyched to get it back.

He sent me a text message suggesting that we widen the fender stripes. He used some black electrical tape and blue vinyl tape to give me an example and sent me pics. I think I like the wider stripes better, but he also wants to put more angle on them. The added angle isn't shown in the pics but I asked him to tape it off and send me another pic.

Original Stripe

Proposed Stripe - without added angle
