I'm going to Camaro school. - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Got a call today from a local dealership inviting me to what he called a Camaro school. Not sure what exactly is involved in that but I have to go register on Monday for the event in Hamilton Ontario on the 23rd.

If I get more info when I register I'll post it up.

Its not dealer training?

Salesman told me he was allowed to bring a guest so they will know I'm not from a dealership. I'll know more after I register on Monday.

I graduated Camaro school back in 87 doing unintentional 360's on a busy highway on black ice in my 68 Camaro, going to fast for the weather. Ended up going straight in the correct traffic position as if nothing happened.

Me and my best Friend had to pull over to catch out breath!
The funny thing was is that most of the reason for the spin out (then in) I was watching him eat nachos from 7/11 and he was trying to throw a nacho that fell on the floor out the window. Later when we got out of the car all the cheese from his nacho's was all down the side of the car.

We laughed our ass's off because we were OK and was watching Cheech and Chong all day before this!

That was Camaro School and I passed Magna Cum Laude

I think its dealer training, my saleman was allowed to invite one guest. IT was cool, there were about 4 sold order customers including me and i got alone time with an IOM SS/RS, this was on March 6th!

I was talking to a local dealer the other day (wondering when I might be able to test drive one, their list is about a dozen names deep right now) and he said that there is one in Hamilton comming up, I didn't recall if he told me a day or not.

I went to the 'Camaro School' today in Calgary, Alberta. The sales manager called me and told me to show up. You get hands on with a Camaro, the rep tells you all about it, the features, clears up any myths, answers any questions you may have.

The fellow I had is very knowledgeable and in my opinion...knows his stuff!

I feel it is well worth the time to go to this if you guys get a chance.
