2k is perfectly fine with me. I will have emission tests since i live in Chicago so not sure how that will work out with some mods.

I feel like the typical noob. I know some shit about cars but not much. Thank god for friends and family members who can help me do all this shit.

Do they do an OBDII connection and thats it? Cause then a good tune will pass no issues. If they do a sniffer or visual it gets more complicated.

Yea my sister thinks she can do whatever the hell she wants these days.

You should get more stickers lol ... ... Each Blackhawk sticker is worth 50hp

CAI / headers / whatever else you feel like doing with catback .. Not terribly important /. Then get a custom tune

Also, I am looking for what mods i should do first to increase some HP. I heard Headers, Air Filter, and Exhaust.

Do i Tune after i get all those installed? or do i tune before that?

Another thing i was wondering is there a chip i can put in my car to increase HP. I have always heard about chips in new cars that increase HP but i never looked into if they were true or not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone has suggestions on Headers, Air Filter, and Exhaust please feel free to let me know and maybe a price along with it. Trying to weigh my options. This will be my winter project when i am limited to the car only being used in the Garage lol.
Don't worry I gotcha! nevermind these guys their only teasing.
Are you an auto or manual?

If you want to get started go with a set of 1 7/8's from TSP depending on your budget, or a set of Kooks 1 7/8 for the top of the line. I just installed a set of TSP headers last week on my cousins L99 2011 and its easy.
As far as an intake is concerned go with a plastic tube intake like Rotofab. The exhaust is up to you. You can either get an axleback or full catback. Depends of what sound you want. In the stickies youll find different videos of sound. I like it loud and almost obnoxious, but that's just me lol. Welcome and glad to see your local. GO HAWKS!!

If you plan on doing headers, then I suggest looking into the Magnaflow street series system Part # 16579. It's nice and mellow, yet wakes up with headers and sounds great under wide open throttle. If you are looking to go a bit louder, check out the Magnaflow comp series Part # 16483 or the Stainless works Retro chambered catback system Part # CA11CB

Also, I am looking for what mods i should do first to increase some HP. I heard Headers, Air Filter, and Exhaust.

Headers are one of those things you should do right before you plan to tune, as they will require a tune in order to not cause a CEL. Good starter mods are things like Cold air intakes, Vmax throttle body and exhaust. Then move up to headers and cam etc..

Do i Tune after i get all those installed? or do i tune before that?

Always tune after the bigger mods. Tuning before will be a waste of money and will not be dialed in to your modifications.

Another thing i was wondering is there a chip i can put in my car to increase HP. I have always heard about chips in new cars that increase HP but i never looked into if they were true or not.

As toy have found, chips are garbage. Unless they are Lays

For the intake, I prefer CAI, Rotofab or Airaid
Headers: Kooks and the Pfadt tri-y's would be my # 1 choices, then ARH, Stainless works, Dynatech and Stainless Power.
Exhaust: above in first response.

My responses are above in Green. Please feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions or pricing. If you decide to order a few things at once, you can save a lot of cash, so start saving!

Best regards,

I know you realize you should have searched but I would rather you look at the stale ideas before we spring the FRESH ONES on you.

Hmm, i'd bet you a million dollars that all these suggestions for you are in those same threads that you claim aren't "fresh ideas".
