Yep Frank, winter beater, bought it new in '98, 132,000 one owner miles, hasn't missed a winter yet, and still going strong. OH YEA, it is a GMC!!!!!!!

That is some low mileage for a 98. I had a 96 that had 111,000 on it when I sold it in 2003 that I had bought new.

I have had multiple other vehicles while I have had the '98. Since '05 I have only put about 4000 miles a year on it. But I keep it, because at this point, I don't care what it looks like so driving it through the winter does not bother me (even though the rust throughs that have shown up in the last 2 years are irritating me).

Vounteer, active from '91 until about '06, then found other intrests. Went out of state to fight wildfires twice, '98 and '00. I miss it, but enjoy the more relaxed life.

Me too, I have a 2000 Blazer with 176,000 on the ticker. The rust over the last few years seems to be growing at a rapid rate. But I don't really care, as long as the 4x4 and the heater work Im good.
