Damn YOU GM!! Guess its what you expect when you buy the 1st model.

First it was the highspeed heads up display and now your downplaying my damn RS package!!

Here's mine...I bought this car used so I didnt exactly have a choice but I love the way it looks as is. I also hate the midnight silver wheels that come with the RS package, polished looks much better IMO. Midnight silver wheels always look dirty

They probably look dirty because these damn brembo's keep them dirty. I have to disagree on them looking dirty when cleaned up. I prefer them on the color I have anyways I think it augments the color nicely.

Pictures of my 2SS with no RS package are here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140071

I'm in the minority, but I special ordered my Camaro just so I could make sure that it did NOT come with the RS package. Out here in California, they all had the RS package on them.

I like the RS package but I definitely do not think it is worth the extra $1200.

I got my dealer to essentially throw in the RS package for free. He had the ONLY 1SS with the EXACT options i wanted within 500 miles of me. It was New Years Eve at 8pm and i told him i want the car but, have no need or desire to pay for the RS package and would go elsewhere. He knocked $1,150 off the price. RS package at that time was $1,200. Got it for $50 and yeah i wanted it but, wasn't going to let him know that.

I opted out of the RS package so I could put that money into the exhaust upgrade and PDIM for my ipod/phone. The only car they could find at the time (this) had the polished aluminum wheels and floor mat "upgrade". I'm happy with it.
