Sort of a dumb question but....

Are the brake calibers already on the cars stock? or is this something that is a add-on?

Are you asking about the Brembo's? There stock on the SS and up models, and can be retrofit on the V6 fairly easily.

Yes all disk brakes have brake calipers. The caliper is the piece that houses the pad and compresses it against each side of the rotor. Calipers can be upgraded for increased performance when paired with new rotors etc.
