Need body shop reccomendation bel/red/iss
Hi,
I'm planning to buy rideskinz aggressor 2 bumper for my Camaro. Does anyone have advice on what body shop to use for fitting/painting? Also I have RJT Camaro, do shops know how to match a 4 stage paint? Ideally would love to find a shop on the Seattle eastside. Thanks Sasha |

Can't recommend any shops up north, but there are a few down in the South Sound. The biggest deal with any pearl or metallic type paint is proper over lap and blending into the surrounding panels. Any paint shop that does more classic/custom paint over production shop tends to have someone more in tune with the specialty paints. That's not to say a production shop can't do high quality, just something to keep in mind.
The biggest problem muti stage will be blending and preventing tiger stripping. Blending is not a big deal until the clear is wet sanded and orange peal gone. The rest of the car will need wet sanding to get rid of the factory orange peal so the car matches. Tiger stripping comes from uneven application which can be a pain with some paints.

It only get involved when you want the finish product to look top notch. Over the years of going to shows I can spot awesome paint job vs good paint job. Keep in mind the cost too the better the paint/painter the more $. The orange peel also might not be as big of a problem pending on painters gun and technique, but if you like the wet look wet sand the car it really makes the paint pop.
