On the top center of the larger lower grill flat surface section that some people were wondering why it was flat compared to pointy upper bumper region, some thought it was a mismatch of parts.

They'll probably mount it dead center and cover a portion of the lower grille

When I purchased my 2011 last year I did not want holes drilled into the bumper, so I had the dealer install a license plate bracket. It connects underneath the front spoiler.

No license plate, here in illinois at least the police could care less, and most will understand why you WOULDN'T want to drill holes in such a beautiful car keep the brackets and crap in the trunk along with a front license plate, incase a cop does give you a hard time, you can tell him your on your way to do it!
