I just saw one this morning during my way to work. Had an exhaust and sounded mean. But like airborne said off the line they could be quicker but we'll catch up in seconds

A regular TT has the 2.0T in it, which is only 210 hp. If it's the 3.2L VR6, it's 250hp. It it's the TT-S, it's the 2.0T with a "larger" K04 turbo, but it's still only 265hp. If it's the TT-RS, it's the 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo, and it's 360hp.

All of them, except the TT-RS, you will smash, without any effort what so ever. The TT-RS is a mid 12 second car stock and it will most likely beat you.

258 for the 2.0T base and the TT-S, 236 for the 3.2L VR6, 343 for the TT-RS.

Those TT RS's are badass. I wonder how well you could modify one of those. AWD is hard to beat at the drag strip (or redlights, if you prefer)

They modify very well. I rode in one at gingerman with intercooler/tune/exhaust
and it felt like an easy high-11 second car. It is a great track car too. Very neutral, not a lot of body roll for stock suspension.

Sure it felt like a high 11 sec car and not a mid to low 11s car.
