I'm guessing this goes behind the front fascia to force "cool" air from the lower grille opening to the air filter box?

Yessir. You cut out a tiny portion of the black backing behind the lower left grill. With that cut out and this in place, it redirects the air into a "tunnel" if you will...up to the CAI intake box. It's kind of a neat little inexpensive mod. As to whether or not it does anything?...hell, I dunno...lol I just figured why not!

Well...we tore down the rear left suspension today trying to pin point that damn plinking sound. Glen, Chris, and I did this over at Planet Pickup...who installed the suspension back in Feb. Chris tore it down...looked it over...and everything looked fine. The top and bottom mounts appeared to be good, but the springs had no wear or rub marks at either end or in between the coils. So, we decided to go back to stock...

We dropped it down with the stock springs back in place (after I already completely took apart the rear sway bar). drove it back and forth and the damn plinking continued. So...don't think it's the springs.

After the looked around for a while, they came to the conclusion that it's either something drive line related or it's the brake pads flopping around in there. Not so sure.

So, we are going to drop it off at the dealer on Monday and see what happens.

I wonder if the dealer has a "plink" detector...

Hopefully they can pinpoint the noises so it doesn't drive you crazy wondering what it is.

I'm fairly certain Doug has a set of mufflers that'll make just about every noise go away
