Sorry man, I've been remiss in not responding to you sooner.

I spoke to Dan on the phone and the prices I quoted were the ones he game me. I did mention that I was associated with Camaro5 and was referred to him through here. I also mentioned that I'd be spreading the word about him as well.

I'm sure you can work something out with him. He sounded like a pretty reasonable guy.

good luck

After this recent referral I sent an email this morning and stated I never got a response on estimates and Low and Behold I have an email from Daniel. I asked for several different estimates including the bumper only, mirrors and the side gills. this is what he had to say:

The Camero clearbra kit is available in three packages…

Package A - Hood, Fenders, Mirrors, and Bumper - $695.00

Package B - Bumper only - $395.00

Package C - Hood, Fenders, Mirrors only - $495.00

Additional pieces for the grill area in front of the rear tires must be hand cut as there currently is no pattern available to us at this time. The cost for these additional pieces is $ 75 each.

Hope this helps. Thank you for your interest in our services.

Cordially,

Daniel Harris - owner

DT Services Window Tinting

Now I wonder why your Gill application is going to cost me $50 more than what you were quoted? I've heard a wide range of prices on these applications and I still say a lot of these vendors tend to take advantage of owners. Not saying this is the case but consistency would help, especially when you think we have clubs and forums where we help one another and make referrals and suggestions to each other. I'm not one to call and ask why but I am one to keep my coin in my pocket and keep shopping around. Obviously something in the milk ain't white on the quote. I near their facility all the time when I visit my buddy who has a auto shop on Gradle Dr; in fact, just there last week. This is something I could do but not with doubts or a variety of prices being quoted from one member to the next for the same application. Hope it works out for ya Darth Martel]

Eh, I could probably get there in a little over an hour. I live in Georgetown. You familiar with that? It's about 10 miles north west of Ripley.

Ive never been to IMAX so i think this movie fits just fine to be the first movie i ever see in imax, possibily seeing it in 3D? Im not to sure where an imax is but there has to be one that is centraly local around indy that we can all meet at.
Anyone interested just post of possible dates and locations that would be good to go, preferably opening day? which is the 29th according to the commercials but on wikipedia i have even seen the 28th?
depending on my extremely busy work schedule, I will have to see what day you guys pick to go. I won't be able to contribute to the camaro rally though

It looks like there isn't too much hipe plus the fear of the group of cars and I can totally understand that. I got my car out for the camaro/corvette event at the speedway and it hasn't been out since. And before that I couldn't even tell you when its been out. Plus buddies of mine wont be off til the weekend even though I really want to do opening night. But I feel a lot of people will do the same thing and think opening will be crazy and wait too.

Just a reminder on upcoming shows this weekend. Saturday is the National Guard show downtown which was mentioned a few pages back http://www.ngai.net/wp-content/uploa...-fillable1.pdf. Anybody meeting up and driving in together?

- Sunday is the Danville American Legion show (register 8-12, awards @ 3)
- Monday is the Ray Skillman Southside show (register 8-12, awards @ 2)

Copies of the flyers are on Indiana 5th Gen's FaceBook page: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...50276761712515

I'm glad we started this group. Over a thousand posts and nearing 25000 views in one year. Pretty good.

Thanks Indy Pace for the update.

Any other events going on this weekend? I am sure there is several.

It's not in Indiana, but the Camaro Superfest is this weekend in Michigan. I'm going to drive up for it.

Added to the Michigan watch list.

I notice the CICC events are coming to an end on my list. I assume there is more. I'll check their website.
