Yes, the rockers really finish off the look on the 1LE! Liking your blackout project. I'll be doing pretty much the same thing

What did you use for the chrome strip on the front? I've seen some plasti-dip, some vinyl, and even black tape. I'm thinking of going with plasti-dip...

I had it wrapped in black. Had my tint guy do it for 30$. It looks pretty hard wrapping the material around the vertical edges on the side. So they're are some slight imperfections in that area

Thanks! It seemed to me that the corner would be hard to wrap. I blacked out the front bowtie this week with plasti-dip. It was pretty easy. Think I'll probably be going that route. Though after blacking out the bowtie and leaving the chrome surround. I was starting to think the strip wasn't so bad

The strip is not that bad, especially if you only blackout the inner part of the bowtie. And thats pretty easy to do. All you have to do is peel the outer half and it won't touch the center. Perfect creases and all. I learned that once I got water on the Plastidip midway thru blacking out the whole thing.
...
Here's a pic after I peeled the outer part and started to peel the rest off

Blacked out the front bowtie and removed all other badges. Intended on blacking out and putting the rear bowtie back on but I was a little overzealous with the heat gun and jacked up the chrome surround while removing. Have ordered new ones.....but, the more I look at it I kinda like the clean look (if I could get rid of the front bowtie as well)

Also had it detailed and opti-coated...

A complete debadging looks better and better everytime I see it. So I think that looks great the way it is now. Maybe add a single badge and that's it

These camaro lettering are next to go on mine

Yeah I'm starting to like it clean. Still thinking of putting the bowtie on the back tho. Taking the CAMARO off the side really cleans it up!

Where did you get the splash guards and the ground effects? I would like to add them to mine as well.

Cheers,
Jack

Splash guards are from here: RPI Designs Stealth. By "ground effects" I assume you are referring to the side rocker panels. They are the Rocker Panels from the ZL1. I ordered from Maureen@Rogers here on the forums. But there are others offering them as well. Gary's Customs is one, again here on the forum. You can just order them from your dealer but then you have to get them painted...
