Its good to have it back!!!

Well I know the camaro is not out yet but in a little over 2 and a half months They will start building them. In reading all the things on this forum and the pictures you begin to realize that It really is for real that this spring when I pull my gto out of storare I will eventually run into some fifth gen's at the local car shows I go to.. You see whlie there are some things I can complain about that I dont like about the car Iam over joyed to see it back. Camaro was my first car when I was 16 and since then have owened 3 of them including a 86 camaro z28, 91 camaro z28 and a sunset oragne 2001 SS. I always knew it was coming back. I remember back in summer 2002 the north eastern camaro club rolled into winks drive in, along with chevrolet and many of their company camaro's like the b4c's etc. Scott settlemire was with them and I asked him when the camaro will back and his reply was " we didn't build a corvette every year now did we". I new form then on it would back, they just could not comment on it. I for one will be in line a the dealership to drive it. Everyone stop complaining about the weight of it, the lack of a z28( which there will be one in couple years), hugger orange, gm's going bankrupt so no camaro, etc. Just be glad to have it back and look forward to seeing them out and about. In times like these when all you hear is bad news look forward to a new begining with an old friend who has touched the lives off all of us in some way

I love these threads. It just shows how much support there is for such a strong heritage brand. It makes me feel safe about waiting a couple of years to afford one. Something with such a strong a backing as the Camaro won't leave us again.
