Polished Aluminum Wheels - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Does anyone know if these are bare aluminum or powder coated or clearcoated? Also, how "polished" are they? Are they just shiny in color or are they buffed to a mirror finish.

Most factory polished wheels have some kind of clear coat on them. The SS at Indy had polished wheels.

my question is this: why wasn't it available on the 2SS/RS? Naomi said when she was ordering the car that it wouldn't let them check the polished wheels on the 2SS/RS

In the podcast on Camaroz28 Cheryl was asked about the polished wheel situation and her answer was that if there is enough backlash about it on the forums they will change it so you can get the polished wheels with the RS package. So just go vote in the poll and it will probably get fixed. I couldn't get the polished wheels either, but I'll go change it when it gets fixed.

Come on GM. I want polished 20s on my RS too. If we pay the $470 list for them, why can't we have them?
