Thats what I thought, it looked very erratic. Maybe thats because he did not get a tune. When I had my long tube headers and cai installed and tuned it was erratic like that and had alot of knocking and pulled 416 rwhp, then was adjusted and was a lot smother and pulled 421. But mine is a LS3 though.

Sorry guys, that's how they said to do it. I am sure if the graph was stretched out to show just 4 gear it would be a lot smoother.

Your not getting a true idea of how much you gained because it was dynoed on different days. The only way to know how much you truely gained is to either base line the car stock then on the same day install parts and dyno or run it at the track install parts and run again. Even when you do this you can get inconsistent results. You could have very well gained more than you think or truthfully gained less than you think. Youll just never know without a baseline just before the mods.

The car does feel like it has more power. I have had a few more day to get over the results. I am happy one way or the other. I have mentioned in other posts that I wasn't looking for 50 hp. I kinda got caught up in all the BS about shorties. I had my heart set on them anyways. They aren't a total waste. The car does sound better too.
Thanks for all feedback! |

get rid of the shorties and go with 1 3/4" LT, shorties are useless...
