IOM - they started charging for it mid-year '10
RY - I saw this coming since GM has always charged extra on corvette, s10, cobalt....

Good news with pricing, has anything been mentioned about upgrades aside from HUD? Horsepower etc?

no it wasn't... they didn't start charging extra for it until april...

at the start of production, and even after that, in their february pricing update, the only extra cost color was the red jewel... and it was only 295 too...

in april, they added IOM to the list...

yeah they did start charging for IOM.

RY, I explained my theory in another thread. I just think it's because of the "I want bumblebee effect". As more people other than enthusiasts begin to buy this car, they feel the need to buy the car that made it famous. Therefore, they buy the car that resembles bumblebee the most.

Just what I think. I can't think of any other reason to charge extra for that color.
