Motor mounts, different mounts
So on my previous vehicles i've always installed some sort of engine mounts or tranny mounts. Tightens everything up and transfers the power to the ground better or more efficiently i should say.
Being this isnt a FWD vehicle what can i do besides the pfdat motor mounts to tighten up the feel of the car. I'd like to tighten the motor up and the tranny a bit. Not sure if the pfdat mounts will even work with the v6 being that i've only seen them on the SS. |

Bushings can defiantly help get you off the line especially in a manual.

Cool thats what i thought also but i want that neck snapping throttle response i had when the car was new. 3000 miles on it and its broken in nicely. You can feel the motor bounce a little when i hit the gas, before it was a tight instant go.

I shook a brand new 1LT at the dealer and could watch the engine jiggle a good bit on the mounts. They definitely have some built in slop. Granted that was done for comfort in mind first.

Ok so it seems like differential bushings arent all that needed for the v6 but if were to be done would be best while doing a gear swap.....which i want to do. 3.73's or 4.10's maybe.
What else can be done without having to start dropping things and getting a press. Was searching a bit and found that the LFX models dont have posi!?? One wheel wonder?.... |

The automatics don't have posi I think the manuals do.
