Corsa - any drone in the cabin after adding headers?
Has anyone experienced drone after adding headers to corsa exhaust?

None at all, I have LT's and Corsa LS3 on mine, you will be very happy with the awesome sound.

Well it really depends on whether the car is an L99 or an LS3.
To my knowledge, what creates the drone on the L99 is when the AFM kicks on. What does the LS3 have that creates similar drone? I think that's why the Corsa LS3 system doesn't have the extra resonators that the L99 kit has. So, if it's an LS3, I doubt drone will be an issue when you add headers. With an L99, unless you tune out AFM, you still would probably have drone in the cabin when you add LTs. |

The sound of drone and AFM is a completely different sound. I have had prior experience with drone on my pick up truck. For me, drone has been more of a "humming" sound that remains consistent. From what I am witnessing, the AFM just pronounces that "4 banger" sound.

I agree they are two different issues. I had the same experience with an Avalanche. I've got the L99 Corsa and LTs - There is NO drone. |

is the corsa loud enough for you? Waiting on the L99 as well, but haven't decided between the borla atak or corsa. Although I was leaning towards axle back..

No drone with Corsa cat back and headers. Yes, it is loud enough when you start it and when you get on it. Not that loud at idle though.

Once i installed my ARH LT's without a tune, the system drove me crazy!! After i'd gotten a tune and turned off the AFM/DOD i was very impressed to say the least. It's like night and day difference when you add headers to the Corsa. I spoke to Corsa and they are work with ARH to come out with an entire system for the Camaro's. That was back in January though and i havent heard anything else. Slapped them baby's on.... get a tune and enjoy!! |

Sound type and volume is of course only an opinion. Corsa is loud when you open it up, but quiet at cruise. It is also a lot louder outside the car than inside even at WOT. Here are some short clips that might help, but the best would be to find one and listen in person. Good Luck. |

Displacement on Demand (Active Fuel Management) - 4 cylinders are turned off and the car runs on the other 4. Only the Automatic Transmission SS cars have it.
