WTB: 6 rib 3.6 Maggie pulley

As it says. Any help is appreciated. I've seen pullies of all sizes go for about $50, so that's what I expect to pay. Funds are in paypal, just waiting to be sent to someone...

My car has never even seen a 3.8! I started with a 3.4 back in 2009.

I can't afford a 10 rib. :(Nitrous jets are cheaper.

I'm looking for a 10 rib off the bat, but might go 8 rib in the end. I agree, jets are always the way to go

The 8 rib is junk. You won't make the boost you want with it. LPE 10 is your best chance. I can only make a consistent 16 psi at sea level with the 8 rib. If I keep the blower ill try the 10. When I go down to my RIP 3.2 pulley I see near 18 psi but its slips all over the place and the car goes slower.

IW does but the LPE stuff is a different design. Much much better belt wrap. Plus you get a 10 rib water pump. With the IW you have to hope you can swap the pulleys out. The LPE is also anodized. I've actually worn the non anodized pulleys out. The ribs get pointy. In my discussions about going in this direction the consensus was, for me anyway, LPE or leave it alone.

Makes sense, LPE makes great stuff, can't really go wrong with that stuff. I know that the fuel pump I got from them is sweet.

In CO you will need it I run a 2.8 and only get about 9psi max.

OP - I might have a 3.6 (I think I do), I will check when I get home. I have collected a lot of these things over the last year.

Also dont forget you will need a new belt....

Plenty of belts around where I live, but if you have the pulley and an extra belt in the right size (I forget what I need at the moment. I THINK I have a 101.5 now, so it would have to be a little bigger.) I'll just take both.

A little backround here...its on a gto, not a camaro. They start underdriven with a 3.2 up front. I'm going over driven with the 3.6. More boost and more belt wrap. Ill have to cut a smidge out of an underhod brace, but that is no great thing. The overdrive is already on with a rich and much timing pullled safe tune until I get this 3.6. I have also been considering a 3.7 though, so I guess its whatever turns up first. I did hit it once as it sits, and it peaked at about 14.8lbs (3.2 front, o/d rear, stock crank)

I came here for the pulley since no one on a gto board has it. Since we start with the 3.2, no one collects any larger than that.
