How long are GM discount codes good for once issued? I have a supplier code I hope to use.

UNITED SERVICES AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION (USAA) $1000 PRIVATE OFFER 01/01/2010 12/31/2010

What is the difference between these two? I am a USAA member and currently only see the $750 offer.

The $1000 offer is if you have a "totaled" car... read this article for more info:

https://www.usaa.com/inet/ent_blogs/...ews%20Releases

The $750 is for everyday purchasing, $1000 if you claim a totalled car as a sort of "Get back on your feet" incentive.

Hope it helps!

Depends if it is TRUE supplier, or Credit Union....looks like the credit union ends 1/4/10

Thanks for the info, Scotty.... If my neighbor didn't work for a dealership I would have ordered from you, but I didn't want him keying my new car!!

My credit union authorization says it expires 6 months from issue, which will be in May. I still have military discount and true supplier discount authorization codes available if needed, but it sounds like maybe they won't issue new credit union codes after 1/4, not that you can't use one you already have?

The credit union program, as specified above, expires 1/4/10 - if a dealer tries to use the code, it may not work. The credit union site no longer gives codes - so my impression is that it will not be extended.

Doesn't bother me much - I'll continue to sell them at supplier even without it!

Military discount is same as supplier. Go to https://www.exclusivegmoffer.com/ip-...do?program=mpp on the GM corporate website to enroll...

Until Hawaii_Subs gave his answer the difference between the two USAA options hadn't been answered unless it was detailed in another thread.

Thanks Cmoney for pointing that out in a more eloquent manner as apparently Blade didn't read the thread prior to making their post.

Yea sorry about that.......I didn't read the thread and I got confused with another one in the General Discussion area, where someone asked the same thing.

I had my dealer write it in the contract, $500.00 cash rebate.

That way I could decide not to take the car if he diden't get it, I would have took the car anyway but I wanted the $500

My code is a true supplier code from a retired GM Employee. Any idea on the expiration date for these codes once issued?

I think it has been answered but with all GM discounts they have a disclaimer on them saying this program can be discontinued at any time by GM. or something close to that... Always read all the disclaimers GM coveres it'sself pretty well with them....

One suggestion is buy from a dealer like Camaro Scotty, He is an upright Guy!.

You should be fine - it was the Credit Union Supplier with an expiration of 1/4. I can find out for you on Tuesday when I check current incentives.
